Winterhalter case study

The Challenge

Dynamic Storage Systems (DSS) has completed the refurbishment of a workshop for the test modification and repair of dishwashing products at the dishwashing equipment manufacturer Winterhalter. The German-owned company is the world’s leading supplier of commercial dishwashers and glass washers that feature cutting-edge, energy-saving technology.

Ciaran Trainor, Winterhalter’s Warehouse Manager, said of the installation “Dynamic Storage Systems have once again exceeded our expectations and have provided an excellent facility for our engineers to work and shows our commitment to the standard of excellence for the service of our customer’s washing machines.

Our approach

Winterhalter sells 24,000 machines a year worldwide through a network of distributors and its UK headquarters is based in Milton Keynes. With business growing steadily, the UK company needed to refurbish their workshop facility and contracted DSS to undertake the work.

Dynamic Storage Systems brief was to completely strip out all the existing facility including old plumbing, tiling and flooring and refurbish with all new fixtures and fitting including plastering, painting, flooring and plumbing works. DSS also installed white walling and a hard wearing vinyl floor covering, including high quality workbenches and cupboards to store the engineer’s tools and equipment safely and securely.

Howard Gillard Managing Director for DSS, confirmed the success of the job: “The results have been excellent and the client is extremely happy with the standard of finish on this project, this shows how Dynamic Storage Systems will go that extra mile for our customers whatever the requirement”.

Winterhalter Limited has been in the UK for 30 years and is based in Milton Keynes. The family-owned company uses state-of-the-art technology to produce the most popular commercial dishwashing equipment in the world, supplying pubs and clubs, hospitals, prisons, schools, offices, restaurants and supermarkets, including many leading high street names.
