Renthal case study
Dynamic Storage Solutions has completed an integrated storage and retrieval project for Renthal Limited – one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of motorcycle, ATV and cycle parts and accessories.
The installation, which was fully operational in just eight weeks, supports a new warehouse within the company’s head office and manufacturing facility at Bredbury, Stockport in Cheshire.
Following its response to an Invitation To Tender (ITT), Dynamic Storage Systems was commissioned to proceed with the fully co-ordinated installation comprising a three tier shelving system, mezzanine floors, pallet racking and LED lighting.
The installation supports all storage and order picking activities within the new 7,500 sq ft warehouse which is connected to the main packing area by a link tunnel to provide easy access for pallet trucks.
The new installation has been designed not only to support Renthal’s existing operations but also to provide a valuable additional resource as the company continues to expand in response to the growing international demand for its products.
Dynamic Storage Systems were highly recommended to us and we have been impressed with their attention to detail throughout the project.
Everything has been completed to a very high standard of finish and workmanship.
And everything was up and running well ahead of schedule!”Paul Watkins
Commenting on the success of the project, Alan Griffin of Gideon Hilman Consultants who oversaw its design and implementation, says, “I have now had the pleasure of working with Dynamic Storage Systems on two separate installations and, in both cases, the results have been impeccable. Communication has been consistent, timescales achieved and, when action has been required, delivery has been immediate.”Alan Griffin
