Pegler Yorkshire case study

The project

Dynamic Systems Limited has completed a significant new £2.8m contract for Pegler Yorkshire Group. As the main contractor for the internal fit-out of Pegler Yorkshire’s new South Yorkshire warehouse and distribution centre, Dynamic Systems supplied and installed all the storage and handling equipment.

This included a fully-automated mini-load system with associated conveyors for order picking and robot tote stacking. In addition, Dynamic Systems supplied a mezzanine floor, pallet and cantilever racking, tote bins. They also worked alongside and in close co-operation with the main building contractor and acted as Principal Contractor under CDM for the internal fit out

Following extensive design and planning work, installation of the hardware was completed on time at the beginning of 2010. Dynamic Systems’ experienced and professional team worked closely with Pegler Yorkshire to design the warehouse internal equipment.

“Although this is a brand new distribution centre, a bespoke design always presents challenges as you’re trying to meet a client’s very particular needs,” says Howard Gillard, managing director of Dynamic Systems.

“Pegler’s products are mostly small in size and high in volume and we needed to reflect this in the design.
